The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring Young people who help create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.

To this end, the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage the students to become more active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.

O.S.G de Meergronden offers their students the chance to obtain the IB certificate for English.
We offer ‘English B’ for our 5 HAVO students and ‘English A2’ - higher and standard level – for our 6 VWO students.
The IB Diploma Programme was introduced in 1968 and makes education available to students aged 3 to 19. De Meergronden offers part of the IB Diploma Programme which is for students aged 16 to 19. The programme is an academically challenging and balanced programme of education with final examinations for English that prepares students for success at university and in life beyond.

Of course results are important too, and we are proud that over the past years all our students have successfully finished the IB course!
